Our average deer will measure 23 inches on the inside
and will display four points on each side, plus brow tines. We try
not to create false expectations, however there is great opportunity
for the dedicated trophy hunter to take a buck in the 25 to 30 inch
range. Patience and a willingness to listen to your guide and pass
up less mature bucks can get you the truly massive typical and non-typical
mule deer that will score over 170.
We use four wheel drives to get to hunt areas, then walk. We do a lot of glassing and prefer to hunt slow and quiet. While the ability to walk long distances is an asset, it is not necessary to harvest a good animal. Your satisfaction is our primary objective. We will provide a list of references upon request. |

Pronghorn Antelope |

| We have excellent populations of antelope and hunt them
with bow as well as rifle. While it is usually not difficult to bag
a buck, a buck larger than fifteen inches may require three to four
days of glassing and stalking. Virtually all of our antelope hunting
is on exclusive private leases. One of the most exciting methods to hunt antelope is decoying the bucks during the rut. We use a decoy to bring bucks in rut to the hunter who stays behind the decoy until the buck comes in to make a challenge. By using a decoy, we frequently get the bucks within fifteen to twenty yards for the archer or hunter to experience the thrill up close and personal. |
